One of the longtime voices of Smoke Signals radio show, Indigenous broadcaster and educator, Dan Smoke died Monday Nov., 4, 2024. His wife, and fellow broadcaster Mary Lou Smoke announced the passing in a Facebook post Monday.\u00a0 Mary Lou Smoke, announced the death as \u201cthe love of her life,\u201d\u00a0 had passed due to complications of pneumonia and Type 2 diabetes. \u00a0 \u201cDan committed his life to helping all people,\u201d the post said. \u201cHe will be missed dearly.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0 Smoke Signals, was created and\u00a0 hosted by the couple launching in the early 1990s.
