By\u00a0 Mike Stimpson, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter EAGLE LAKE \u2013 Eagle Lake First Nation is challenging the Nuclear Waste Management Organization\u2019s site selection in court, and that\u2019s more than welcome news to Neecha Dupuis. \u201cI love it,\u201d Dupuis, a member of the Ojibway Nation of Saugeen (Savant Lake), said from Ottawa. \u201cJust pure love.\u201d Eagle Lake\u2019s chief \u201ccame and walked with us\u201d in this year\u2019s Walk Against Nuclear Waste, she noted. \u201cIt\u2019s all coming together, like one giant dream catcher,\u201d Dupuis said. Dupuis said she doesn\u2019t understand Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation\u2019s decision to move forward with the NWMO on possibly constructing a deep geological repository, or DGR, for high-level nuclear waste. \u201cFor them to choose nuclear waste over the land, that doesn\u2019t make sense.
