Prophet River First Nation (PRFN) announced via the community\u2019s LinkedIn page on Tuesday, June 17th that \u201chard work\u201d from wildfire crews \u2013 along with cooler weather and steady rainfall \u2013 have allowed the nearest wildfire activity to remain 50 kilometres from PRFN. \u201c[Wildfire activity] no longer poses an immediate risk to our community,\u201d reads the post. \u201cMembers can now return home safely. \u201cWe\u2019re so proud of how everyone supported each other during this time, whether you hosted family, checked in on neighbours or just stayed alert.\u201d Several wildfires are active south or… <\/p>\n
