Mitch Sylvestre, chief executive officer of the Alberta Prosperity Project, says he\u2019s noticed since the last election an uprise in Albertans who have lost hope in federal politics, and APP wants to offer those discouraged Albertans hope. \u201cI think we\u2019re giving them the opportunity to have hope and to give them the opportunity to support change by participating in a democracy,\u201d says Silvestre. When asked about those who don\u2019t agree with separating from Canada, Sylvestre says they are more than welcome to participate in a referendum on Alberta sovereignty.
