Eskasoni\u2019s Athanasius (Tanas) Sylliboy, who now lives in Halifax while he attends Dalhousie University\u2019s medical school, was recognised by Halifax Pride last week for their work spanning medicine, advocacy for culture, and the performing arts. \u201cBy day, Tanas is a clinician, student, researcher and educator working to bring cultural safety, language, and equity into medical spaces.
