That’s because the Ironmen, who are competing in their inaugural season of the Northern Premier Hockey League (NPHL), find themselves heading into the new year on a three-game winning streak. Recent successes for the local senior men’s squad include a pair of victories against the Orangeville Blitz. For starters, the Ironmen travelled to Orangeville on Dec. 19 and thumped the host Blitz 9-3 in a match held at the Alder Street Recreation Centre.
