The Snipers, who had won just four of their first 11 regular season contests, could have potentially had their post-season aspirations dashed if they were to suffer back-to-back losses against the Brampton Express. The Brampton club had won nine of its first 11 matches and had already secured a bye in the opening round of the ALL playoffs. Thus, it was a bit of a surprise to see the Snipers knock off the Express twice in less than 48 hours.
