The Rivermen downed the visiting Owen Sound North Stars 10-8 in their Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL) regular season opener, which was held this past Saturday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA). The Rivermen led 5-1 after the opening 20 minutes of action. But the North Stars rallied in the middle frame and trailed by just one goal, 7-6, heading into the third period.
