Rivermen register lopsided victory versus expansion Kodiaks

With several players suiting up for their first game this season, the Rivermen got off to a quick 5-0 lead over the host Belleville Kodiaks on Saturday. The Six Nations squad then cruised to an 11-3 triumph over the Kodiaks, a first-year entry in the Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL). “It was a good bus ride, a long bus ride,” Rivermen head coach Wayne Hill said of his club’s road trip to Belleville. “So, the guys, once we got to arena, we had a good warmup, good stretch.
