During the regular council meeting on July 27 in Sandy Lake, municipal administration brought forward an early draft of the updated utility contract. This new agreement aims to make sure that both governments share the heavy financial costs of the region’s water and sewer systems fairly and transparently. In the past, the local government used simple flat rates to charge for water services.
