The Chiefs and Peterborough Lakers are squaring off to decide this year’s Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) champions. The best-of-seven league final was scheduled to begin on Tuesday. The Chiefs hosted Game 1, which was staged at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA). The match was after The Turtle Island News press deadline. Game 2 in the series is scheduled for Thursday in Peterborough. This marks the sixth consecutive time the Chiefs and Lakers have met in the MSL finals, dating back to 2019.
