Native House board reinstated by Quebec Registrar

Richard Ruest, President of the Native House, described the decision as a crucial step in restoring normal governance to the museum. “This decision restores the legitimacy of the Native House’s governing bodies and allows us to turn a difficult page in its history,” Ruest said. The Quebec Enterprise Registrar issued its ruling on June 15, overturning a 2025 decision by the museum’s then-executive director to restructure its board.
