Cost of living front and centre as Manitoba legislators return

Both NDP Premier Wab Kinew and Opposition Progressive Conservative house leader Derek Johnson named cost of living as a key concern of Manitobans ahead of Tuesday’s start to the fall sitting of the provincial legislature. “My thoughts are on you and the cost of gas and the costs of groceries and trying to get (U.S. President Donald Trump) to stop this war in Iran so the prices are going down,” Kinew said Monday.
