SRU and KYC combine forces on community recreation project

 By Marc Lalonde  Local Journalism Initiative Reporter  06/06/2024  The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake’s Sports and Recreation Unit and the Kahnawake Youth Center are teaming up on a project that will identify the community’s recreation needs as a whole and seek to fill in the gaps as needed. The new Kahnawake Recreation Steering Committee (KRSC) will be tasked with a pair of major projects.
