Chiefswood Park…SNEC just dug up the site….why?

Oops! It looks like, once again, Elected Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill’s “council.l” for want of a better word…goofed. By that we mean a member of her council, with or without her knowledge, made the decision to clear the lands on a National Historic Site here at Six Nations… Chiefswood, the home of poetess Pauline Johnson, without consulting the community or for that matter other council members. Why, or how that could happen without anyone’s knowledge is just as astounding as any member of council thinking they could act without permission from the entire council. Now we know there was no approval for the work that went through any open council session.
