Ohsweken man facing impaired driving charge

(OHSWEKEN, ON)- A 46-year-old Ohsweken man is facing impaired driving charges after a Six Nations Police officer spotted a driver failing to stop at the intersection of Onondaga Road and Fifth Line Road. Six Nations Police Service said, while on general patrol Thursday, July 25, 2024, at about 10:05 PM,  a Six Nations Police officer saw a motor vehicle fail to stop at the intersection.  Police said the officer began to follow behind a vehicle that was being driven erratically when the officer activated emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle pulled into a private residence. The officer approached the vehicle and observed the male driver showing signs of impairment.
