Feds considering Competition Bureau probe of Northern grocery pricing practices

By Nick Murray The federal government is looking to have the Competition Bureau investigate pricing practices of food retailers in Canada’s North, Northern Affairs Minister Gary Anandasangaree said Tuesday. He made the remark at a news conference in Ottawa where he announced the appointment of Inuk leader Aluki Kotierk to head an external review of the Nutrition North food subsidy program.
