Six Nations golfer wins provincial Indigenous tourament

The Six Nations member captured the men’s title at the Indigenous Ontario Golf Championship, which concluded last Wednesday at the MontHill Golf & Country Club in nearby Caledonia. This marked the fourth year of the tournament. The event has been staged at MontHill each time. Monture Jr. had won the inaugural tourney in 2022. And though he led the field heading into the third and final round of last year’s event, he ended up in a tie for second place.
