By: Austin Evans Writer Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged 64 suspects who are now facing a combined 348 charges in connection with a series of child sexual exploitation investigations, dubbed “Project Aquatic” that spanned the province. OPP announced the arrests May 8th at a news conference in Scarborough saying it involved online child exploitation. These arrests were the latest development from their Provincial ICE (Internet Child Exploitation) Strategy. The OPP conducted investigations for Project Aquatic between February 19 to February 29, 2024 to identify those making, possessing, and distributing child sexual abuse material.
