First Nations woman on winning team for latest season of The Amazing Race Canada

Taylor McPherson, a member of Miawpukek First Nation in Newfoundland and Labrador, and her teammate Katie Mulkay crossed the finish line first in the final episode of the series aired on Sept. 10. McPherson and Mulkay, who are both 24, became the second female team to win The Amazing Race Canada.
