By Marc Lalonde, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter The very first edition of a new education program aimed at supporting young Indigenous people and helping them learn leadership skills wrapped up last. The first iteration of the Next Generation program, aimed at Indigenous youth aged 18 to 35, who wish to explore their future and develop essential leadership skills was held March 4 to March 6 at the Ilnu Museum in Mashteuiatsh. The initiative was launched by First Nations Executive Education (FNEE), which in turn is powered by Executive Education at Hautes Etudes Commercials (HEC) Montreal.
