By Sam Laskaris Writer Despite a six-goal performance from the league’s most valuable player Thunder Hill, the Six Nations Rivermen were unable to take a commanding lead in their Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL) championship final. The Rivermen were edged 10-9 by the visiting Brooklin Merchants in a match held at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena on Sunday. With the win the Merchants, the defending OSL champs, were able to tie their best-of-five league final series at 1-1. Six Nations had captured the series opener 8-4, a game held last Friday at the Merchants’ home rink, Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby.
