Racing Waters drops on APTN at 8 p.m., Sunday, September 13. The series follows Snuneymuxw First Nation’s Island Brave Canoe Club on and off the water as they compete in elite war canoe and outrigger racing while several paddlers train for the 2025 International Va’a Federation (IVF) World Long Distance Championship in Brazil. IVF is the international governing body for the sport of outrigger canoe and the Tahitian word “Va’a” is the international term for the outrigger canoe.
