Hosted by the Fort St. John Métis Society, the event at the Charlie Lake Boat Launch will take place on Sept. 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. With registration fees being awarded to the victors, an additional $1,000 in prizes will also be given, according to the society’s director, Bailie Copeland.
