The Rivermen were downed 12-8 by the Brooklin Merchants in an Ontario Series Lacrosse match held this past Saturday at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby. The local Senior B squad is now gearing up to host the same Merchants, this coming Saturday on its home turf. That contest, at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, has an opening faceoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The Rivermen were missing several key players who were unable to attend Saturday’s match in Whitby.
