By Victoria Gray Writer Fort Albany First Nation faced challenges regularly, but the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated those challenges, but the community is on the mend and is focused on making differences for community members. The community is no accessible by road for most of the year, larger supplies to create or fix infrastructure must come in through an ice road, but construction can not take place until summer, so projects can often taken longer.
