Filmmaker uses university fund to lead land defence journey in the Far North

Jeronimo Kataquapit, a 20-year-old filmmaker and post-secondary student at the University of Waterloo, has launched a movement called Here We Stand. “This needs to happen,” Kataquapit told TimminsToday. “The land is a large part of who I am. It’s who my parents are. It’s who our ancestors were.
