Tributes are pouring in from across the country as Indigenous people across Canada mourn the loss of a great statesman. Murray Sinclair, former Canadian senator and head of Truth and Reconciliation Commission has passed at the age of 73. A member of Peguis First Nation in Manitoba, Murray Sinclair whose Indigenous name was Mazina Giizhik (the One Who Speaks of Pictures in the Sky) has left behind a legacy that touched thousands of Indigenous people.
