LU researcher co-leading ‘trust-based’ project to improve Indigenous youth mental health

Christopher Mushquash is co-leading a national project aimed at bettering mental health among Indigenous youth. The initiative has received an additional $10.8 million from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Lakehead University said in a media release. Mushquash is a Canada Research Chair in Indigenous mental health and addiction and a professor in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University.
