Rural, First Nations Communities to see Nurse Practitioners

By Steven Sukkau, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter, Winnipeg Sun Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) has welcomed four new nurse practitioners (NPs) to communities across western Manitoba, strengthening front-line primary care and improving access to health services in both rural and First Nations communities. The new practitioners have begun seeing patients in Rossburn/Shoal Lake, Melita, Canupawakpa First Nation, the Brandon Minor Injury and Illness Clinic, and the Dauphin Primary Care Outreach Clinic.
