Chiefs put Kodiaks on verge of elimination with road victory

Two nights after suffering their first playoff setback of the year, the Chiefs came out and pounded the host Cobourg Kodiaks 14-6 on Tuesday. With the victory Six Nations now leads its Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) semi-final series 3-1 against the Kodiaks. The Chiefs will be looking to wrap up the series on Thursday when they host Game 5 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. In Tuesday’s encounter, held at the Baltimore Recreation Centre, Six Nations got off to a torrid start and scored more goals in the opening period (7) than Cobourg did in the entire match.
