Six Nations Elected Council’s (SNEC) annual audit is late again this year, but should be available in the coming weeks. SNEC passed a motion to pay auditing firm KPMG $72,760 for its progress on the 2023-2024 audit during its General Finance meeting on August 19. The fiscal year ended March 31, 2024. Councillor Helen Miller asked why the audit isn’t complete yet and what the hold up is. “We were all gung ho get it done in June and now here we are and it’s almost September again,” she said.
