The council expects the draft official plan to be brought back for third and final reading at their February 13 regular council meeting. However, that won’t be the end of the process. The official plan still has to go to the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for final review. Once that is achieved, the plan will be approved, Temagami Mayor Dan O’Mara commented in an email following the January 23 working session meeting.
