Downtown biz leaders told education is key on road to reconciliation

 By Dave Baxter  Local Journalism Initiative Reporter The leader of Manitoba’s largest First Nations advocacy organization spoke to downtown business leaders on Thursday about what can be done in Winnipeg’s downtown to create stronger relationships with Indigenous people and work towards reconciliation. Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) Grand Chief Cathy Merrick addressed an event hosted by Downtown Winnipeg Biz.
