Benedict beat out four other candidates, including the incumbent Glen Hare, in an election which was held Wednesday morning in Six Nations. The election was the highlight of the second day of the Chiefs of Ontario’s annual general assembly being held locally. The three-day event, which concludes Thursday, is being held at the Six Nations Sports and Cultural Memorial Centre.
