Mural project launches as part of Truth and Reconciliation Day event

By Andrew Bates, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter, Telegraph-Journal Attendees at Sussex’s Truth and Reconciliation Day event heard stories about the past treatment of Indigenous people in the region and contributed to a community mural project. More than 100 people attended the event at Leonard’s Gate, according to Mary Ann Coleman, who was one of the organizers.
