The Female Eye is an annual festival which features critically acclaimed independent films from women directors across Turtle Island and beyond. This Sunday (July 31), The Nature of Healing received a special award from the Female Eye’s jury for The Most Impactful Film of 2023. On July 26 the documentary The Nature of Healing opened the Female Eye Film Festival at the Hot Docs Cinema in Toronto.
