SNEC finance staff searching for $7 million addiction treatment facility funds

Six Nations may have had funds saved for an addiction treatment facility on the reserve, but finance staff can’t find it. Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) Councillor Melba Thomas wants answers. She brought the matter forward at SNEC’s General Finance meeting on October 16 and said she wanted to know where the funds are located and see a plan to see the treatment facility come to fruition.
