The project’s contractor, Edmonton-based Valard, is currently recruiting a material yard groundsperson. The deadline for applications is Aug. 15, a project bulletin says. The required work is to start in Rosslyn and “transition” to Sapawey. Applicants must have a G2 driver’s licence. The Waasigan project is a partnership between Hydro One and nine area Indigenous communities, including Fort William First Nation (FWFN).
