The Rivermen were looking to rebound following a tournament-opening loss on Sunday at the Presidents Cup, the national Senior B tournament. And the Six Nations club accomplished its goal, downing the Edmonton Miners 9-6. All matches at the eight-team tournament, often simply called The Prezzy, are being held at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby. The chat around the rink is the Miners are capable of capturing some hardware at this year’s event.
