SN Anti-Bullying Tsk Force gets money to take on bullying

Six Nations is putting its money where its mouth is and investing in the creation of a plan to combat bullying and lateral violence on the reserve. Six Nations Elected Council approved a $38,000 budget for the Anti-bullying Task Force at the General Finance meeting on August 23. The task force was created in 2019 and ceased operations during the pandemic, but it was revived in January 2022 and has operated without a budget since then. Elected Chief Mark Hill acknowledged that for the task force to work effectively and efficiently it would need a budget. “It’s important that we look to supporting this budget.
