Rivermen gain learning experience at Presidents Cup tournament

The Ontario Series Lacrosse champion Six Nations Rivermen posted a 2-3-1 round-robin record at this year’s Presidents Cup.

But Rivermen head coach Wayne Hill deemed his team’s participation in the national Senior B men’s lacrosse championship a success. The seven-team Presidents Cup tournament concluded this past Saturday in Delta, B.C. The Rivermen had earned the right to participate in the event by winning their Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL) championship. The Six Nations club, however, posted a 2-3-1 round-robin record at the tournament. The Rivermen finished in fifth place in the standings.
