FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATION — A $200 million project to modernize the Kakabeka Falls Generating Station has drawn opposition from Fort William First Nation. Chief Michele Solomon said Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has not completed any archaeological fieldwork at the Kakabeka Falls Generating Station site. According to the first nation, there is a non-Indigenous cemetery on the property.
