By Laura Mushumanski, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter, Alberta Native News (ANNews) – Since hearing her mother’s advice, “be a good mixer,” Karen MacKenzie, Co-Founder and President of MacKintosh Consulting, an Indigenous owned, international company, has walked with these words of wisdom of how to be in the world. “I was taught the importance of walking into any space and being able to connect with someone or something is part of being [in good relations],” said MacKenzie.
