Some job seekers just need a believer

By Carl Clutchey, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter, The Chronicle-Journal Though barriers remain a struggle for some looking for a job, organizers of Fort William First Nation’s annual spring employment fair aim to keep their prospects for work within reach. “Sometimes all a person really needs is for someone to believe in them — just enough to help them build their confidence back up and realize their true potential,” Lauren Waller, Fort William First Nation’s employment and training co-ordinator, said in an email earlier this month.
